photographer/muse lee miller was a lady beyond her era. as a teen in the 1920s she was the toast of the new york scene– modeling for vogue and then acting as man ray’s lover/muse. later in life she switched to behind-the-camera, becoming one of just two ww2 female combat photographers, and the ONLY female photographer for vogue. the woman is a true lesser-known legend.
