tomorrow is canadian armistice day. and by armistice, i mean remembrance. (i just learned the fancy term). this photo is of bay & king in toronto, 1918, just after our soldiers helped end the war…

sure looks like a righteous block partayyyy!

this year to commemorate, toronto’s cn tower will go dark for five minutes at the start of each hour.

poster from toronto during ww1, advertising christie’s crackers in support of soldiers. although we didn’t do much fighting on the home front, the country was head over heels with support.
